Year One were excited to receive some letters from children in our partner school in Ethiopia- Burka Jato. In the letters they have given us a diary of their school day. Some of the activities they do each day are very different to what we do here at Westclyst so we have decided to write back to them.
We found it so interesting that some of the children at Burka Jato school in Ethiopia start school at 2:00pm! However, it was also possible to find similarities between our two schools, for example, that they have a library and a playground like ours. It has been great reflecting on our school days and thinking about all the facilities and opportunities we have. Harry said "we have loved learning more about our link school in Ethiopia ". Myla- May also said she was excited to find out even more and so we look forward to seeing if we receive some replies! Here are some children with the letters explaining our school day that will be sent in the next few days.
