If you are considering applying for a place at the Westclyst Primary School (WCPS), we would be delighted to speak to you about all aspects of the school. If you would like to arrange a meeting, or request a copy of our prospectus, please do get in touch with us.
Although we act as our own admissions authority, we use the services of Devon County Council's Admissions Team to administer applications on our behalf.
All parents who wish to express a preference for a place at WCPS must do so using the Devon Local Authority Common Application Form (D-CAF1). This is available online as part of the "Step by Step Guide" admissions booklet, copies of which are available by calling the My Devon team on 0345 155 1019.
All applications needed to have been made between November 2016 and January 2017. The Local Authority co-ordinates admissions for all primary schools in Devon, and will write to you (or email if you applied online) in April 2016 to advise of the school place you have been allocated for your child.
If you wish your child to be admitted to WCPS other than at the first intake to Reception or at transfer from infant to junior, even if one or more of your preferences is for a school outside Devon, you will need to complete the D-CAF.
School Admission Appeal Process
The school uses the independent services of the Devon County Council Admissions Team to handle any appeals being made. Click here to be directed to the DCC appeals webpages, or call 0345 155 1019.
